Digital Inclusion Leadership At Its Best

  • July 7, 2016
  • General

Our first annual Digital Leaders Awards ceremony was held at Twitter. The awards recognized the inspiring work happening in the Bay Area to close the digital divide. View pictures from the event on our Facebook page.

The following awards were given.

  • Leslie Katz – Digital Champion Award
This award acknowledges the dedication of individuals whose work supports CTN’s mission of transforming lives through digital literacy.
  • William Dean – Digital Changemaker
This award goes to a volunteer who has made an exceptional contribution to CTN’s mission to transform lives through digital literacy.
  • San Francisco Public Library – Digital Inclusion in the Community
This award recognizes the devotion of community-based organizations that share CTN’s mission to transform lives through digital literacy.
  • Salesforce – Digital Amplifier Award
This award acknowledges the generosity of Bay Area businesses that make a huge contribution to CTN’s mission of transforming lives through digital literacy.

Special guests included Sunne McPeak from the California Emerging Technology Fund and San Francisco Supervisor Mark Farrell. Pictured here are staff, board members, and award winners proudly holding IFANs (Internet For All Now).

We hope to make this an annual event and would love additional support from our community to make it happen. If you are interested in serving on the planning committee, email DigitalLeaders@ctnbayarea.org.
